Silk Masters Collection
Limited-edition

Jill and her son, Alexander, travelled to Lyon, the French capital of silk making, to meet the Brochier family at their Atelier BROCHIER SOIERIES. In Lyon master silk printers still create beautiful fabrics using traditional methods.
From their collaboration is born this limited-edition silk collection featuring iconic examples of Jill’s works. Their shared vision is to join traditional craftsmanship with art to create timeless pieces. Only one hundred editions have been printed in each design.

"I am proud to claim that since 1890, our silk products have been designed, produced and totally completed in France by skilled hands that work passionately maintaining the tradition and the high quality that, to this day, distinguishes the ‘Made in France’ products."
Cédric BROCHIER
BORCHIER SOIERIES President

Jill’s artworks will accompany you all year long

Voilà, the 2018 calendar is available. A hanging calendar (17” x 11”) with 14 images of my selected work from this year. With the advent of internet calendars the physical calendar may seem useless, but the hand written notes and the visual printed images can be a solace to a fast disappearing era.

Art Soul & Destiny
An Artist Journey from America to Provence

Jill Steenhuis invites readers to share her destiny by way of her images and writings, which communicate the unspoiled and seductive beauty of Provence and her spiritual, lifelong connection to Cézanne’s artistic genius. His beloved mountain, Mt. Ste. Victoire, overlooking the artist’s birthplace, Aix-en-Provence, became a figurative birthplace and home for Jill – a sacred site where her intellectual and artistic passion has grown to abundant fruition.

"To observe and contemplate Jill Steenhuis's art (and her words, for she is not only painter, but also poet) is to accept an invitation to be inspired by the timeless beauty of nature that she captures on canvas and in her writing. Returning to the pure and simple joy of daily things - of flowers and villages and budding trees - we taste and smell and feel the truth that is life. Jill is a magnificent artist in every sense of the word. Her work touches my soul."
