Venice Workshop —
—
Meet Jill for an exclusive experience to paint in the enchanted “floating city” of Venice! This workshop is available to alumni painters of Jill’s Provence workshops.
It has been my longtime dream to host a workshop in Venice, and I am thrilled to invite you to join me.
Springtime in Venice is the ideal time to paint where the ethereal beauty touches our hearts. To be there away from our homes and our duties, we will seek to stretch ourselves to go beyond our limits. To live and breathe painting – at sunrise, at sunset, at midnight – it will become our habit of being.
My routine in Venice has always been:
Wake up and go straight to paint .
After the painting session is over, have breakfast in a café.
Go back out to paint before lunch .
Relax with an afternoon nap then spend time exploring the city.
Have dinner followed by a sunset painting.
(This is absolutely optional and you are welcome to choose your own Venice routine!)

Travel
The main arrivals day will be Friday, and departures will be the following Saturday. You are of course welcome to arrive earlier and stay later.
During the week, we will provide you with gondola passes for easy travel within the city.
Jill & Serge will be staying near the Hotel Belle Arti in the Dorsodouro district of Venice. For the sake of convenience, you may want to look for lodging around this area.
Let us know if you have any questions or comments about Jill’s workshops, or if you need assistance in planning your trip to Venice. We are happy to answer your questions!
