Artist Residency at Skibo Castle (Dornoch, Scotland)

November 8, 2022

In August 2022 I had the pleasure and privilege of doing an artist residency at Skibo Castle – The Carnegie Club in the Dornoch region of Scotland. It was a dream to exchange the radiant heat of Provence for the coolness of the Scottish Highlands. Tucked up in this breathtakingly beautiful and serene corner of the world, I was absolutely delighted to spend my days painting, giving art classes and getting to know other residents at Skibo Castle. All of the staff members were exceedingly kind, generous and professional. I could not be more enthusiastic about my time there. Each day was a new adventure and a true gift. Thank you to Skibo Castle for inviting me and allowing me to capture the beauty surrounding this special and historic place.
