My July oil painting workshop is in full swing – we are having a good time. Palette mixing, painting the wheat fields of Provence and the Mediterranean from Cassis. Off to Arles tomorrow to paint in the spirit of Van Gogh and to see his beautiful work at the Fondation Vincent Van Gogh.

We gather to begin the June workshop on Friday evening at my friend Stephanie’s 17th century home on rue Cardinale in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. We introduce ourselves and share a bit of our past and what brought each of us here. I explain the essence of the week to come and how strongly I believe that Destiny had formed this group and how each one in the group was going to climb their own spiritual and artistic mountain.
Summer workshops in 2023 have been joy-filled, inspiring experiences shared with wonderfully creative, beautiful people. Grateful for each person who has taken the journey to paint with me in Provence. You have all climbed your own mountain within you and joined me in the dance.
One of my favorite new experiences has been connecting with people to paint together virtually. Over the past two years I have been working to develop my online oil painting classes. Today I am pleased to offer a course that includes ten hours of live instruction, painting demonstrations, art critique and video tutorials. Now you can meet me in my studio and paint with me from anywhere in the world!
