The non-refundable deposit is required at booking as it secures your spot in the workshop, helps cover initial costs, ensures commitment and minimizes cancellations.
Final payment is due 3 months before the workshop:
February 19th, 2027 (May Workshop)
March 12th, 2027 (June Workshop)
June 11th, 2027 (September Workshop)
Rates for non-painting participants
Participation without accommodation – $2,500
Private room in shared apartment – $3,500
Couples rate: Private apartment – $3,000
Couples rate: Maison Dauphine – $3,900
$1,500 non-refundable deposit due at registration
The number of non-painting participants is limited due to logistical reasons and for the comfort of the painters. Please check the box in the registration form if you wish to travel with a non-painting participant. We will contact you directly to confirm that the space is available and will send a separate registration form.
This workshop includes —

Accommodation Information
There are 3 types of accommodation:
— Shared apartment: We provide comfortable apartments with 2 to 3 rooms that can be shared by workshop participants traveling together or willing to share with another participant (shared bathroom).
— Private apartment: We provide comfortable apartment options for people wanting to stay in their own space in a shared bedroom with a spouse/partner.
— Guest House (Maison Dauphine) – A beautiful 17th century Bed & Breakfast with a 1st-floor art gallery located a few doors down from the daily meeting point. This apartment includes a master bedroom with a Queen size bed and a Queen size sofa bed with a luxury mattress & bedding. Shared bathroom. (price includes breakfast & cleaning service)

Each of the above accommodation options is fully-furnished and equipped with A/C, washing machine, hair dryer and all basic amenities and is in the center of Aix within easy walking distance to the daily meeting point.
Cancellation Policy —
You may cancel your registration up until 60 days prior to the workshop and receive a full refund of any monies paid, less the non-refundable deposit and less a 4% credit card fee.
Any cancellations received fewer than 60 days prior to workshop will be refunded minus a $1,500 cancellation fee, less the non-refundable deposit and a 4% credit card fee.
No refunds will be issued within 8 days of a workshop start date.
If Jill Steenhuis has to cancel the workshop for any reason, she will refund all deposits and payments made.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any potential cancellation fees. Travel insurance can protect you from unexpected changes in your plans, ensuring you are reimbursed for non-refundable deposits and other expenses.
