The non-refundable deposit is required at booking as it secures your spot in the workshop, helps cover initial costs, ensures commitment and minimizes cancellations.
Final payment is due approximately 3 months before the workshop:
February 14th, 2025 (May 2025 Workshop)
March 14th, 2025 (June 2025 Workshop)
June 13th, 2025 (September 2025 Workshop)
Rates for non-painting participants
$1,000 for spouse accompanying a painting participant (shared room/bed)
$2,000 for accompanying a friend (private room in a shared apartment)
$500 non-refundable deposit due at registration
The number of non-painting participants is limited due to logistical reasons and for the comfort of the painters. Please check the box in the registration form if you wish to travel with a non-painting participant. We will contact you directly to confirm that the space is available and will send a separate registration form
This workshop includes —
— 6 days of artistic immersion, plus 2 travel days
— Painting & color mixing instruction, demos, individual coaching/critique
— Exclusive access to private historic painting sites
— Museum entrance fees
— Meals (most lunches & several dinners), including wine & other beverages
— Ground transportation & round-trip airport/train station transfer
— Use of all art supplies (linen canvases, Rembrandt paints, Soltek easels)
— Shipping artwork back to you

Cancellation Policy —
You may cancel your registration up until 60 days prior to the workshop and receive a full refund of any monies paid, less the non-refundable deposit and less a 4% credit card fee.
Any cancellations received fewer than 60 days prior to workshop will be refunded minus a $1,500 cancellation fee, less the non-refundable deposit and a 4% credit card fee.
No refunds will be issued within 8 days of a workshop start date.
If Jill Steenhuis has to cancel the workshop for any reason, she will refund all deposits and payments made.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any potential cancellation fees.
Travel insurance can protect you from unexpected changes in your plans, ensuring you are reimbursed for non-refundable deposits and other expenses.
